LCD Monitors: Liquid Crystal Display Monitors
LCD is a type of Flat-Panel monitor. It means that it is designed to be thin. This feature is often confused with the flat screen. It actually means that the screen of a computer monitor is flat instead of curved.
The screens of LCDs are refreshed in a different way from the CRT monitors. The screens of LCDs are created by electric voltages hutting the liquid crystal cells. They allow 64 different shades per cell.
These monitors have only one resolution size. In case of small resolution adoption, a black border will appear around the re-sized resolution.
